I have finally solved it and the module is build successfully.

Thank you for help and sharing your idea @dkayiwa. It motivates us to investigate and look for solution. I looked and tried different ways and the finally the Ref App Module is built successfully. I just delete all the folders in (.m2/repository/ ) and build it again with following command mvn clean install -DskipTests=true I feel that there was conflict between old and new version of libraries.
