@tendomart thanks for taking your precious time to volunteer on this testing phase …
Am not sure what steps u have taken to run to get to this ,you share here the steps you took to run the 2.4.0-alpha.3 instance
I doubt if its a bug ,
To run the instance you can setup a reff app server using the sdk and select the latest 2.11.0-SNAPSHOT distribution and if the sdk has pulled the the latest released platform war file of 2.4.0-alpha.3 then you can dowload it here and make a switch with the one in your reff app server that you have just created .
Else you can also download and run the respective standalone zip folder of 2.4.0-alpha.3
@gcliff@grace sorry, bad news… I tried to test this quickly this morning but ran into some issues with the dev environment I was using for testing this… I’m really busy at the moment, so may not get to dig into this further until after the new year…
Thank you for the update @mogoodrich, it’s very helpful to hear the timeline. Just to make sure I get it, the issues you ran into were independent of the Platform 2.4 upgrade, correct?
In the meantime, @gcliff is going to reach out to the community and ask if other implementers can assist with this last-pass of testing.
Not 100% sure @grace… I think I may have run into an issue with the Appointment Scheduling and Appointment Scheduling UI module… if those aren’t bundled in the reference app I might suggest testing updating them.
Hi Mark,
Yes, the Appointment Scheduling and Appointment Scheduling UI modules are bundled into the RefApp 2.11 release (based on this page); however, that release runs on 2.3.2 not 2.4.
So Mark are you specifically saying we should test those 2 modules on 2.4? That’s helpful to know.
These two modules are running perfect on both platform 2.3.2 and 2.4 Have tested this today via setting up two running instance using different sdk versions
hello @mogoodrich , thanks for your feedback on the testing
I have set up an openmrs instance running on 2.4.0 alpha.3 and the appointment scheduling and appointment scheduling ui modules run fine locally.
May be you can share the details and error logs here in your free time
