I can’t believe it’s already been 2 months since we lost Joseph.

Every day or two I still catch myself thinking “Ah! The perfect person to ask this or that question is Kaweesi - he will have ideas on how to proceed.”

And then I remember.

And I miss him.

I hope others know that they are not alone in continuing to miss and to mourn our colleague and friend.

Well said @grace. I also find myself often thinking, oh I’ll just ask Kaweesi… and then the pain hits my heart all over again. I miss him too.

This week is the 2nd anniversary of Joseph’s passing.

Personally, I think of him often.

I believe he would have such a huge smile upon learning of the growth of the QA Support program he co-founded in the OpenMRS community; the growth of the many folks he was mentoring 2 years ago; and the growth of folks visiting his beautiful home who continue to receive incredible support from their own community. When I think of Joseph I feel so blessed that he was part of our community - and continues to be through his legacy.

We miss you dearly, Joseph. :bouquet: To all our OpenMRS community members in Uganda who were especially close with him, my heart and thoughts are especially with you this week
