I am very new to EMR and also medical terminology, so may be this question would not be well thought through or backed with data or would not be clear, apologies in advance. Just trying to understand, I see there is already integration of SNOMED-CT and CDSS and has been announced also in recent release Bahmni standard 1.0 beta

And as a layman my understanding is that the difference between O3 and Bahmni is mostly the front end, at the end both uses OpenMRS platform and may be there could be version difference. So why not to leverage same? would it be not compaitable with O3, or in O3 are we looking some thing else? just curious to know, as I am also thinking of integrating CDSS with CIEL dictionary maybe, kind of leveraging what is available in Bahmni. We are based out of India and country wide SNOMED-CT license is available, but not being from EMR background , not sure how to start and how complex this job could be. Any pointer or any freelancer who could help/guide me.
