A quick but important reminder: weekly blog submissions are a required part of your GSoC journey. We’ve noticed some of you are not taking them seriously. Please understand that these blogs are not just for formality. We use them in your evaluations, and missing or consistently late submissions can result in failing.
We expect all blog posts to be submitted on time every week, no exceptions unless you’ve communicated with us in advance.
If you have any missing blog posts, you are required to complete them by Sunday, June 23rd. Here’s the list of pending submissions:
- @nsalifu: Week 1
- @twiine: Community Bonding, Week 1, Week 2 (I couldn’t find your posts at the link you shared.)
- @capernix: Week 2
To all mentors: Please make sure you’re reviewing your mentees’ blog posts regularly and reminding them to publish on time.
If you’ve already written them but forgot to post it here, please do that right away. Let’s treat this professionally and respect the program expectations.

It’s totally okay to self-host your blogs, no problem at all there. That said, there should still be a separate post for each week, and I couldn’t find individual links for Community Bonding, Week 1, or Week 2 on your main blog.
Could you drop those links here?
Also, just a quick reminder: from now on, please reply to this thread every Friday with the link to that week’s blog post. Makes it easier for us to keep track.

That’s right. What I did for the week 1 blog was that. Since I missed publishing on the day, I combined week 2 at: GSoC’ 2025 Week 2: If not coding, what else ??? | by njidda salifu | Jun, 2025 | Medium
