@dkayiwa I am using ubuntu but could this be it?.
@irenyak1 did you manage to solve this
?? Sync2 shows succes , yet it has failed.like did you manage to sync succsfully?
Am also wondering why the icons do not display correctly?
@mozzy when I click āManual pull from parentā I get a notification that the pull is successful, however, when I go to the Audit log, I get that image above, meaning that the pull was not successful, it was actually a failure. Those icons have failed to display correctly but still I know it is a failure after sorting according to failure of success. Thereās no success at the moment, there are only failures.
@gcliff yes. On the first two instances child and parent I created patients in the child instance did manual push, checked in the parent and the patient was existing there. Then I created patients in the parent instance did manual pull from the child side and had patients reflected in the child. However, on adding more children thatās where a problem comes. It indicates success on both pull and push even in the audit log its shows success but then no patients will be pushed nor pulled.
@mozzy @irenyak1 since this is turning to be a general issue, mainly for windows users, lets create a ticket to tackle it
- @gcliff A ticket is already created for it.
@dkayiwa looking at this error below
WARN - RestTemplate.handleResponseError(608) |2019-07-29 14:38:00,503| POST request for "http://localhost:8081/openmrs-standalone/ws/rest/sync2" resulted in 401 (Unauthorized); invoking error handler
could it be brought as a result that Sync2 invalidating the session on the other server ?? i think specificaly on windows. i think we need to create a ticket for it , ,its like the general issue why "Get and Post"Rest call cant be made.
Which ticket is that?
i was replying cliff , that iryn already created a ticket for the error hes talking about.
For those who are getting errors on sync, can you share details of any failure row in your sync audit log?
It would be great if you used pastebin for this @mozzy. If you restart both instances and still get 401 Unauthorized, then check your parentās whitelist and also confirm that you provided the correct parent user name and password in the settings.
i tried restarting the server , and surely i have the right instanceid (child instance id) in the parentsās white-list . but i still have that error.
yes i did that but no succes. Could it be related to the case where one Sync instance invalidates the sesssion of the other instance??
Can you show me your instances on https://uberconference.com/openmrs?
ok , alright
am there already
yes , it has been solved
@mozzy thanks for the feedback. Now clear the audit log in the child, create one patient in the parent, go back to the child and do a manual pull from the parent and then share details of any of the audit log failure rows.
