why is the module commons not working

Question: I am getting blank page when i install commons module, kindly help i want to install the openhmis cashier module.

Thanks dkayiwa i got it out , its solved. i installed java 6 and changed memory size for tomcat and it worked.

for anybody out there who needs help create setenv.bat file and add the following set JAVA_OPTS=-Dfile.encoding=UTF-8 -Xms1048m -Xmx2048m -XX:PermSize=64m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m save the file in tomcat bin directory then restart tomcat
