Who's attending OSCON 2014?

Do we have any OpenMRS community members attending OSCON 2014? If so, reply here and let us know!

I’ll be in the area that week. Not sure when or if I’ll be at OSCON (full registration is cost prohibitive).

Hi there @gmccallum. Good to hear you’ll be around. A few things you and others that don’t want to spend so much money (who doesn’t?) might want to know about:

This year there are “official” budget accommodations for OSCON at Portland State University. Rates are $66 per night (single) and $33 per night (2 people per room). If someone wants to be matched with a roommate they can do that too. The convention center can be reached from the university via MAX streetcar. http://www.oscon.com/oscon2014/public/content/hotel#budget_accommodations
OSCON offers an Expo Hall Plus pass for $25, which includes access to all sponsored talks & session, the expo hall (vendors & snacks), and all evening events. Expo Hall passes can be purchased on the main registration page.
The Community Leadership Summit happens Friday & Saturday before OSCON, and is a free unconference about community management topics. Details and a link to free registration are on their web site.
Finally, don’t forget the free Health IT Unconference happening during OSCON. Details are in another thread here on OpenMRS Talk.

O’Reilly just published an OSCON 2014 promotional video. See if you can find the “cameo appearance” from OpenMRS in the last 15 seconds or so.
