The only HR module I’ve been able to find, Human Resource Module, is not compatible with anything over 1.9 for sure, and probably not compatible with anything over 1.7. Is there another module that will help with HR stuff? If not, what do you use to manage HR? Does anything integrate with openmrs?

I don’t have a direct answer to your question. However, if you explore Bahmni, you can configure HR modules in Odoo. It allows you to manage employee details, Leaves, Attendance, Appraisals, Recruitment, and even Expenses.
I would love to use Bahmni, unfortunately I spent 3+ days trying to get centOS to install on our server and was never able to get it to work. Ubuntu, on the other hand, installed perfectly easily. So I tried to install bahmni using virtualbox and vagrant, but that didn’t work either. After doing vagrant up, and clicking on the sample urls (listed https://bahmni.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BAH/pages/14712841/Bahmni+Virtual+Box, such as https://192.168.33.10/home or http://192.168.33.10/openelis), nothing ever loaded. I had no errors at any point throughout the installation, and the services were running, which I confirmed when I ran a command like service openerp status or something like that I don’t remember right now.
If you can help me figure out how to get bahmni to show something on the page, I’ll gladly switch.

Unfortunately I’m having a difficult time figuring out the networking issues. I can see bahmni if I’m physically on the server, but I cannot access the ip address from my personal computer.
