Welcome! Please introduce yourself

Hi everyone !! I am RISHABH from india and I am a student I am completely new to open source .

Hi, I work for a company called Clinical Accord. We are developing better ways to search EMR databases for patients for clinical trials and have been at this for about 3 years but only recently have developed a methodology that truly makes it better and easier. Live in Annapolis MD and have long background in healthcare technology but primarily in marketing of that. Looking forward to exploring OpenMRS!

Hi everyone,

I’m Ashish Sareen , a senior undergrad at VIT Vellore. I’ve joined OpenMRS recently and would love to contribute to its projects. However , I’m not sure where to start ? I’d prefer a backend project and have a decent understanding of Java and REST. Can anyone suggest a good issue or project for me ?

Hello Everyone !

I’m Tenzin, from USA, currently a junior in Highschool, & an aspiring coder - I found OpenMRS through GCI -

I’m a strong advocate for health care delivery for all, which is also reflected through my role as the President of mvhs’ Health Occupational Students of America, which has the similar goal of enhancing the delivery of quality health care to all people, just like OpenMRS

I was thrilled to find that OpenMRS would be a way to contribute, using my passion for coding, through OpenSource, something I was unfamiliar with but now excited to continue. I love this community !

Hey @reverie, Welcome to the OpenMRS community!

We currently are working on the android client here: https://github.com/openmrs/openmrs-contrib-android-client. I’d suggest you start by first downloading the app off the Google Play Store and testing it out. Our README can then help you get started developing. Would love to see your contributions and best of luck! :grinning:
