, and brings a very relevant set of Informatics experience as well as his impressive credentials with a BSc. Comp Sci, Software Engineering, and an MPH. Please meet Jeremiah in his own words:
I am delighted to join the team as the newest member! I have spent over a decade in the digital health, strategic information, and data management fields, and I bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the table. My passion is to use technology and data to address healthcare challenges, particularly in resource-limited environments, which aligns with OpenMRS’s mission. As an experienced IT and Public Health expert, I have the skills to deliver innovative software solutions that make a significant impact. I am committed to ensuring data accuracy and usability, which is consistent with OpenMRS’s goal of improving healthcare outcomes through robust information systems.
Apart from my professional pursuits, I find solace and inspiration in the world of music, especially jazz. During my downtime, you’ll often find me lost in the soulful melodies of jazz compositions. Music is not just a hobby for me, but a deep passion that I express through the piano and bass guitar.
I am genuinely excited to embark on this collaborative journey with OpenMRS, where I can contribute my skills and share my love for both healthcare innovation and the art of music. Together, let’s push boundaries and make a meaningful difference in the world of healthcare.
Jeremiah is providing key technical project management this year working with stakeholders in PATH DRC as we try out the “packages” concept for the first time starting with an HIV Care and Treatment package.
