The address field selected has already been associated with another level

Application Name: Bahmni Version Number: 0.9 Hello ! I have been facing a problem in configuring the address hierarchy .When I try to map address fields to specfic address field it throws the error “The address field selected has already been associated with another level” I have tried to find a work around on this one by uploading a new cvs file and overwrite the exiting the hierarchy and also changing the address template to suit my location (Kenya) but no no avail . I will appreciate your help guys

Difficult to say without finding out more details

  1. Did you start from a blank db? or started from demo database?
  2. Did you define the address hierarchy in openmrs admin?
  3. did you check the app config, if you have used the ‘default config’?

Thanks guys for replies I appreciate .I solved it by truncating the two tables namely address_hierarchy_entry
and address_hierarchy_level.The demo data was the one halting my configuration. Thanks a bunch .
