Hi community,

Is it possible to have a user account register a patient without having a provider account created upon creation of such an account ?

@yaidoo1, I understand that you’re asking: can a user that does not have an associated with a provider account register a patient?

Yes.

A provider account is required to create an encounter. But you should be able to register a patient and start an empty visit for them without being a provider.
