# Ozone Open-MRS default port number configuration

I am installing ozone open-mrs on our linux company server.I am following the instructions on this link [Run Locally - Docs](https://docs.ozone-his.com/getting-started/run-locally/) . I want to change the default port number of ozone open-mrs from 8080 to be 9000. Where can I change that configuration ?

Hello, are you having a port conflict? OpenMRS should be listening on port 80, not 8080. To override that, you can export PROXY\_PUBLIC\_PORT before running the start script.
