Job Description: Our client is looking for an OpenMRS Developer (a Java based technology) to join their team. The candidate will participate in a program investigating the informatics considerations, and will be involved in requirements analysis and developING solutions with an open source platform called OpenMRS. The applicant should be a key contributor to innovation. They will also build proof of concept examples that can be leveraged across current and future program initiatives. The technologies used to build the prototype include Java, OpenMRS, MySQL

Roles and Responsibilities:

•Collaborate with customer leadership to create software solutions that meet customer needs and adhere to established standards. •Works under general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to technical solutions to a wide range of complex difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. •Design, develop and support OpenMRS custom solutions including workflows, web services, and SQL reporting services. •Performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions. •Ensure secure coding practices are adhered to in all phases of the secure development life cycle.
