OpenMRS Android Client 2.8.1 released!

Hi folks!

After ~ 2-3 months of hard work, we’re proud to release v2.8.1 of the app! :partying_face:

Improvements:

  • Fix window leakage error when viewing patient details
  • Fix various performance issues
  • Integrate leak canary for debug builds
  • Add a splash screen
  • Add intro slides for first time users
  • Set a code style
  • Fix broken unit tests

App is available for download in our releases page. APK

P.S. sorry for releasing a bit late, was busy with exams and this GCI thing.

It’s better to focus on one feature request per thread, so if anyone wants to see a feature in the Android client, they can open a new thread on that. :slight_smile:
