The OpenHMIS team is happy to announce the release of the new OpenHMIS Inventory module along with a new version of the Cashier module. We have been working on these modules for a long time and are happy to finally be able to share them!
The major points of these releases include:
- Support for the current (2.x ) release of the REST Module
- Many Cashier Module performance and UI fixes
- Extracting inventory-related functionality from the Cashier module into the new Inventory module
- Significant enhancements to the OpenHMIS Commons module
The Inventory module is a simple inventory management system targeting the needs of small-to-mid sized institutions that do not need full-fledged inventory management system. This initial release provides:
- Item Management
- Stockroom Management
- Stock Operation Tracking
Demo We have a demo site set up at demo.openhmisafrica.org running the latest version of these modules. We welcome any feedback or questions that you may have; please let us know what you think and any feature requests that you may have.
