OpenHMIS Cashier 2.0 and Inventory 1.0 Module Releases


The OpenHMIS team is happy to announce the release of the new OpenHMIS Inventory module along with a new version of the Cashier module. We have been working on these modules for a long time and are happy to finally be able to share them!

The major points of these releases include:

  • Support for the current (2.x ) release of the REST Module
  • Many Cashier Module performance and UI fixes
  • Extracting inventory-related functionality from the Cashier module into the new Inventory module
  • Significant enhancements to the OpenHMIS Commons module

The Inventory module is a simple inventory management system targeting the needs of small-to-mid sized institutions that do not need full-fledged inventory management system. This initial release provides:

  • Item Management
  • Stockroom Management
  • Stock Operation Tracking
