Notes for new students for GSoC

So you wanna be a GSoC student eh?

  1. Keep your questions in the project thread, you’ll find it in the #community:gsoc category. If it doesn’t exist – make it.

  2. Don’t make new threads just to introduce yourself.

  3. Introduce yourself to the community

That’s all I have to say!

If it doesnt exist – post your question – creating the thread for it…subsequent students should use your thread.

Also note – it is a blaring red flag when you do not do your research or pay attention to detail. Read what I wrote…click the link to #community:gsoc - If you do not see your project - AND YOU DID YOUR RESEARCH – then create it.
