New contributor looking for beginner-friendly issues in automation (GSoC 2026)

I’m Vishnu Vardhan P, an Electronics and Communication Engineering student from India. I am thrilled to join the OpenMRS community and I’m a new contributor aiming to apply for GSoC 2026..

Technical Background:

Automation & Testing: Proficient in Java, Selenium, and Cucumber for BDD (Behavior Driven Development).

Hardware/Embedded: Strong foundation in ECE with ESP32 and Arduino.

Tools: Familiar with Git/GitHub and automation testing workflows

Current Project: I am developing “BAASHA,” a hardware-based real-time linguistic translator device. It uses an ESP32 to bridge voice data to Cloud AI—a project that has taught me a lot about end-to-end system integration and edge-case testing.
