The modules versions in reference application should be at snapshot versions for actively developed projects but they have been set to released versions I guess for the upcoming RA release for a while, this is a blocker in that we are unable to deploy and test the latest builds of modules to the QA server for the RA.
I think we should have a branch for the distro for the upcoming RA release where the module versions can be set to their released tags that way in master we can have them at snapshot versions.
