Issue building OpenMRS module that depends on REST module

Hello,

We are using OpenMRS version 1.12, Java 7, and Tomcat 7. I am trying to add the REST module as a dependency in our module. I have added entries in our pom.xml and config.xml. Once I add these entries, I am no longer able to build our module. Several errors occur when running unit tests. Also, if I skip the tests and attempt to deploy our module, similar errors show up in the log and I am unable to deploy the module. Has anyone else ran into anything similar?

Can i look at the source of this test that fails? Or is your module on github?

I believe that I may have figured out the problem. We have a test class, GeneralTest.java that extends BaseModuleContextSensitiveTest. This class was in the module-omod directory. I moved it into the -api directory and the test seems to run fine now. The module is located here https://github.com/CHIRDL-Openmrs-Modules/atd. I am working off of the Prod_Release_10.0 branch. There still seems to be an issue deploying the module, but I’ve atleast made some progress :slight_smile:
