Hi, My name is Esther, a software developer with over 15 years experience. I am based in New York. I have expertise in java, distributed systems, SOA, Database Management Systems, and Web technologies. Although I am currently working in the financial industry, I would love to help out in the development of OpenMRS, which is especially helping make a difference in Africa, where I grew up. I have filled out the Get Involved form several times, but unfortunately no one has gotten back to me. Looking forward to contributing to this worthy cause. Thanks

probably start of by being a “casual developer”!! I will go over the Technical Overview, I should have a more specific answer after that. I will also start looking at setting up my development environment. Please share any info that could speedup the onboarding process. Thanks

I was able to setup my development environment, and can access the app on the browser. I will spend some time going over the documentation and familiarizing myself with the architecture. Thanks
