How to trim OpenMRS logs (and manage them longer term)

Hi all. We’ve done a standard Bahmni 0.88 server installation, and have just been using it for development and testing purposes (moderate volume of config updates, very low volume of data capture). However, in the month since we last restarted the server, the OpenMRS log (/opt/openmrs/log/openmrs.log) for this instance has hit almost 1.4Gb. (At first glance, there seem to be a lot of AtomFeed errors in there, so could failed synchronisation over a period of time generate logs this big?)

Is there a standard approach for trimming/rotating/managing these OpenMRS logs in a sustainable way? I’d be very grateful if someone could point me to appropriate documentation. (Note that I’m new to CentOS, so forgive me if there’s an obvious OS-level solution to this!)

Regards, Sam.
