How to send HL7 messages to OpenMRS

I am trying to send an example HL7 message to my local installation of OpenMRS Platform 1.9.3 using SmartHL7 Message sender. The message is sent successfully, but it does not show up in the HL7 queue or archive. The HL7inqueue process is started.

How do I send an HL7 message to OpenMRS ?

What URL are you sending the message to?

I have tried both the hostname and the ip address of the server the openmrs installation is running on
