I want to change the Test Result Type of the test Urine Blood (RBC) from R to D. yet I did not enter the record for that test, so I should be able to edit the result test type of this test. But while editing the test it gives the error. Test Result Value is invalid. ResultType for this test already exists is invalid. The screenshot is attached below’.
One thing to note here is that the instructions for adding new tests have changed slightly. Creating Dictionary type concepts are now handled directly by modifying concepts in OpenMRS. Please either make sure this is updated in your documentation, or alternatively start documenting links to the Bahmni wiki instead. for adding the new test in openmrs select the data type coded instead of text with the answers specified. We need to add another 5 test into the available test(Samle type Urine). following are they 7) Blood (RBC) Ery/µl – expected range result or answers-- Normal, Trace, +, ++, +++ 8) Nitrite – expected range result or answers 9) Leukocytes Leuko/µl – expected range result or answers-- Normal, Trace, +, ++, +++ 10) Specific Gravity – expected range result or answers-- 1.000, 1.005, 1.010, 1.015, 1.020, 1.025, 1.030 11) PH – expected range result or answers-- 5.0, 6.0, 6.5, 7.0, 7.5, 8.0, 8.5 While selecting the datatype coded, for adding the new lab test need to add the new concept That means I need to create the new concept Normal, Trace, +(1+), ++(2+), +++(3+) with the datatype NA, since it will not contain any answer. (screenshots 1 and 2 are attached ) The results need not be added to All_Tests_And_Panels. Misc should do for the answers. Specific Gravity - If you only have ranges, better for it to be numeric.
