I have understood that the graphical interface of the patient record is the Reference aplication, but I find no way to install it, I install all corresponding modules but as it is on my page inition as the demo, there is some documentation to install this interface?
Dear @ibatista, To install the reference application into a running OpenMRS Implementation is just a matter of adding the modules. I’m not sure where the documentation for this is; I just did a quick search and didn’t come up with them. Anyway, if you download the modules here… http://sourceforge.net/projects/openmrs/files/releases/OpenMRS_2.2/openmrs-2.2-modules.zip/download
You can then unzip them, and copy all of the “omod” files to the modules directory. Then restart tomcat and if all goes well, you should be running OpenMRS Reference Application. If it doesn’t work, ensure they have appropriate permissions (if on linux). You could also upload them through the user interface, but there are requirements for the order they are started which complicates this.
If you’re starting from scratch, it might be easier to download the OpenMRS 2.2 Standalone here… https://sourceforge.net/projects/openmrs/files/releases/OpenMRS_2.2/openmrs-standalone-2.2.zip/download
Hope this helps.
What exactly did you install? If you are seeing a login screen that looks like what is at demo.openmrs.org, that means things have successfully installed.
I just write some (very rough) installation instructions here: https://wiki.openmrs.org/x/uwMYBQ . Hopefully these help.
(Si estas viendo una pagina igual a lo que esta a demo.openmrs.org, eso significa que logreste a instalar el reference application.)
Proceeded with the installation of OpenMRS, and I have installed but when OMOD copy the files in the “modules” folder C: \ Application Data \ OpenMRS / modules and restart the tomcat, the OpenMRS “Loading” will remain and will not open.
Hi @ibatista, you may try to allocate more memory to tomcat. See more info here… https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/docs/Performance+Tuning
Hope this helps.
