GSoC 2025 : Interactive Builder for Form Translations within the Form Builder (Interactive Translation Builder?)

Hi everyone I am Pratibha Yadav, a B.Tech undergraduate majoring in Information Technology. I am excited to participate in GSOC 2025 with OpenMRS. The project that interests me most is Interactive Translation Builder.

Currently, I have setup the required repositories locally and gained fundamental understanding of their architecture and functionality. Looking into tickets related to form-builder, gradually getting familiar with the contribution process. I would appreciate any guidance or advice to help me navigate and contribute effectively :))

Hi @pratibha_y , welcome to OpenMRS! It’s awesome to see your enthusiasm for GSoC 2025 and the Interactive Translation Builder project! :tada:

Great job setting up the repositories and exploring the architecture! Getting familiar with the form-builder and working on related tickets is a fantastic approach. A few tips to help you navigate your contributions smoothly:

:white_check_mark: Start with Introductory Tickets – Check out good first issue or community priority tickets in JIRA. They’ll help you get hands-on experience.

:white_check_mark: Ask Questions Freely – The OpenMRS community is super helpful! If you get stuck, feel free to ask here or on Slack.

:white_check_mark: Follow Contribution Guidelines – Make sure to check the OpenMRS Wiki and developer guide to understand coding standards and best practices.

:white_check_mark: Engage with the Community – Join OpenMRS calls, interact with mentors, and stay active in discussions—it really helps!

Excited to see your contributions grow! :rocket: Feel free to tag me if you need any help. All the best for your GSoC journey! :blue_heart:
