Being a developer contributing to OpenMrs ,

Is MySQL so important to me ?

if so how do I get started ?

You remind me the days I had just joined the community I was so desperate to contribute to the community and I must confess I made many mistakes than anyone else. I should admit I like your zeal and willingness to contribute but to be able to grow you have to set the goal. kindly is there away I can be of help? Anyway to get started you can follow this guide.
