Getting started tasks/issues, Jira filter not accessible

Hello Everyone, as I am trying to get started with an initial issue for sw development (I am a backend/java dev), I am facing the issue of the filter not being accessible. Could anyone please help with any indication on how to filter so I get a list of issues that are in the current priorities or have value. I have tried to look at the overall issues but the list is long :slight_smile: . I have also looked at the various project pages Jira Product Discovery - Published View - OpenMRS Issues and there seems to be a lot going on, so some kind of orientation towards valuable issues for a java dev would be deeply appreciated.

Clarification: The filter issues is that if I try to access a filter like Issue navigator - OpenMRS Issues i get the result in the screenshot below. I am logged in with my openmrs id and i have requested and received the access to jira and wiki as described here https://openmrs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/docs/pages/25462532/How+to+access+issues

By leftmost i mean then one on the most left hand side. :blush:

see this specification misunderstanding problem is everywhere in software :slight_smile: , by leftmost I considered the top left on the upper menu bar, and there are only two, the “collapse sidebar” which is the leftmost and simply opens and closes the sidebar, and the one i showed. Now I am confused :slight_smile: . Which icon do you mean?
