Finally I did it! You just have to go to the Help Desk, Create a New Case, tell them that you need access for Wiki and JIRA, and give them the reasons why you want access. They are very helpful!

Hey all! I am Chaitya Shah. I’m an organization admin with OpenMRS this year  A little bit about myself: I went to high school in New Jersey, USA at a school with a program called the Computer Science Academy. After learning a bit about computer science, I became interested in GCI, and in 2013 I participated with another organization. In 2014, I participated again, this time with OpenMRS and was named grand prize winner :D. Afterwards, I graduated from high school and began my undergraduate degree at Georgia Tech. As a university student, I could not participate in GCI as a student anymore, so I participated as a mentor with OpenMRS. And finally, that brings me to 2016. I’m now a 2nd year student at Georgia Tech, and an organization admin with OpenMRS

I truly cannot wait for the amazing things you all will bring to OpenMRS, and I hope you learn from your experiences in this GCI! Keep in mind, that though GCI is a competition, we want you all to learn how open source software works, and gain something out of this 7 week experience. Have fun with it!

If you want to talk about my past experiences with GCI or anything else, definitely join us on irc or telegram  I look forward to working with you all!

Hi my name is Damian,

I am from Australia which is a great place, my current hobbies consist of Coding and doing UI Design. This has sparked my interest for the Google Code-in, it seems like a great place to learn a lot more about the open source community and to have quite an experience while doing it.

I love technology and specifically discovering new technology and how it works, I’ve always been interested in technology but I will never get tired of it. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me!

Hi, I’m from Indonesia. I heard Google Code-in from a news article and was interested because it opens a developer to open source projects, and I would love to participate with OpenMRS as our improvements and ehancements can change lives. In fact I chose OpenMRS for that reason.

My hobbies are programming, game developing, learning the physics behind games, … and playing sports sometimes when I have free time.

I haven’t participated in GCI before so I’m very excited! Hopefully I’ll learn a great deal about open-source developments and OpenMRS in general.

Hey guys!

My name’s Yusuf Karim and I’m currently a junior (16 yrs. old) in the U.S. Some things about me: I’ve loved technology ever since I was 4 (would always tinker around on the home computer). Some interests of mine include robotics, programming (probably my favorite hobby), and biology. It’s my first time participating in Google Code In and I’m very eager to start and meet new people along the way. OpenMRS to me seems like the perfect way to delve into open source programming : doing something that not only helps me improve my skills but also helps many people worldwide.
