Error message when trying to start openmrs

Hi, I am brand new to openmrs and I am not a tech expert. I have been trying to open the stand alone 2.9.0 program but keep receiving this error message below. Does anyone have any advice for a new user? Thank you all in advance.

OpenMRS is not able to start.

The following error occurred at startup:

First can you please share what are you trying to do and what have you done as the steps followed.

Also use Pastebin to put the error Log.

please use OpenMRS SDK which is easy to setup for begginers .

Hi, Thank you very much for responding to my message. I am nurse working in Africa and I am trying to create a database for an organization. I downloaded the standalone edition 2.9.0, JDK 11.0.3, and Java 8. When I run the stand alone jar file I get the error message that says openmrs cannot open. I see that other people have received similar messages. Sorry, I don’t see the pastebin where I can upload the error message.

@vankineenitawrun our sdk is not appropriate for those who are not developers.

@sbevan OpenMRS does not yet support JDK 11.0.3 use version 8

If it still does not work, share the contents of the log file at pastebin.com
