Design new form or import form

I am designing new form and trying to import same form to other openmrs instance also. I would like understand different between xform and html form in openMRS. Is there any document explains to create new form in latest version of openmrs-2.11.

Did you get a chance to look at the wiki documentation of the xforms and htmlformentry modules?

i guess you would want to use the HTLMform entry , Xforms seems to be less in use now.
