Need a way to delete a patient in RefApp UI

I have failed to see a straight forward option on the new UI to delete a patient. The only available option is http://demo.openmrs.org/openmrs/admin/patients/index.htm

Any future plan to include this feature soon? Say on this page:

I would suggest adding this as a General Action on the patient summary, e.g. http://demo.openmrs.org/openmrs/coreapps/clinicianfacing/patient.page?patientId=deb0905c-3b82-4631-88b2-b71425755cdf

If you want to add this feature, you should (a) create a ticket for it in the RA project, and (b) work on it! :slight_smile:

@darius Adding this on the General Actions section sounds like the ideal plan.

As a matter of fact, it was @jmpango and me who discussed it over IRC and decided to setup this thread.

I had been meaning to work on implementing this but have been busy with proposals and stuff. @jmpango Have you created it a ticket? If you haven’t, I’ll create one and proceed to working on it straight away :slight_smile:

Edit: I have taken the liberty to create the ticket for this issue here. Will start working on it

I’ve added a few of my questions regarding the implementation of the feature on the ticket here. @darius could you take a quick look and change the status to ‘In Developement’? I’ll have something to work over the weekend then. Can’t wait to get back to hacking after a stressful week of exams :slight_smile:

@jmpango I’m almost done with the ticket. Only a unit test or so remains. Have a look at the screenshots here :slight_smile:

Hey @jmpango

If you see the ticket, I am already done implementing the code and have addressed all the issues during code review.

I believe all that is required is a merge by @wyclif
