The jira project for OpenMRS core has some confusing version numbers, I see Platform 2.2 which has a release date but not marked as released, I also see Core 2.2. I believe the later is the correct version number, it would be nice to clean up this before we do the release.

And the Core fix versions to this one: https://issues.openmrs.org/projects/TRUNK
Sorry for asking this here, whats basically the difference between Platform and Core 
Core is the vanilla war file with zero modules, platform is core with a few key modules.
