Adding New OBS or OBX in a patient

Hi I want to add new OBS or OBX captured through another application in the openMRS database.

1. My doubt is about what will be the URI and HL7 message structure?

2. Will the HL7 message for new OBS/OBX contain the previous OBS/OBX?

3. How will the openMRS know that it has to add this OBS to an existing patient?

This module is not getting installed in the latest standalone version 2.6

Cannot Install Hl7 query module in openMRS

but then why is the module not getting installed. After I add a module I get an error and after manually removing the module it starts working. Is there any step I am missing for installing a module?
