Adding an additional ID to the patient registration form

Hello,

we are trying to add an additional ID Number (e.g. Driving License ID) to the patient registration form.

We managed to create a Driving License ID in “Patient Attribute Types” and we can search for that ID Number by using the standard OpenMRS Find/Create Patient function within the “advanced configuration” screen.

Unfortunately we cannot get this Diving License ID on the “register patient” form.

Can anyone help?

@scorpion1000, I hope you find a solution. Once you get it to work, if you are using the Reference Application, it would be great if you could document how to do it at… https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/docs/Registration+App+Configuration

If you can’t find a solution to add an identifier to the registration app, you could always create it as a person attribute and add that per the directions on the page referenced above.
