Hey everyone!

It looks like we have dates for our November Community Showcase & Meeting: 29-30 November. Thanks to everyone who gave their input on these dates.

Next up:

  • Coming up with a theme/objectives
  • Getting the word out: how might we promote the event via Digital Health Week?
  • Setting up our wiki & sign ups
  • Crafting our agenda
  • Lining up moderators & presenters
  • and more!

There are still plenty of ways to get involved and help us make this a great event! Please join us on Slack (#global-events) or come to our meeting.

When: Wednesday, 18 October ay 7:30pm IST | 5 pm Nairobi | 4 pm Cape Town | 2 pm UTC | 10 am Boston | 7am Seattle.

For those who couldn’t make it, below is a snapshot of what we talked about - including a number of great ideas for themes. We decided to go with “The Whole Wide World of OpenMRS” for November’s meeting.
