Over the past few months, I’ve heard quite a few myths about OpenMRS come up more than a few times: OpenMRS can only used at HIV clinics, our community consists of volunteers, etc.
It’s a clear sign that we can do better when it comes to telling the world what OpenMRS is actually capable of and how we work collaboratively to build & maintain OpenMRS.
Here’s a short video that takes you through why it’s important for our community to tell focused stories, how we’re currently telling our story, opportunities on the horizon, and some suggested actions we can take to get clear and focused messaging about OpenMRS out to the right people.
At this week’s Global Events & Marketing call, we’ll talk about a few events coming up over the next six months, how we can use them to bust some of these persistent myths, and start taking action.
